Welcome to Hazen, ND

Well, I am here in the great city of Hazen, population 2,500. The trip up here went about as smoothly as I could have hoped for. It was great finally getting to meet Pastor Bob and his wife, Becky, in person. They are such a sweet couple and I am excited to work with them over the next few days. They have graciously opened up their home to me during this time and I am so thankful for that. After getting in, we went to eat and then we went and saw a statue of Sakajawea, which was cool. Once we left Bismarck, you could see for miles. It was absolulely gorgeous driving through the rolling hills that were covered in snow. I will post pictures when I get back into Texas.

On the plane rides, I had a chance to talk with my the people next to me, which was really encouraging as I shared where I was going and why. One gentleman, was a Christian, while the one on the flight from Dallas to Minneapolis was not. With the second guy, we talked and I got to share some, and while there wasn't neccesarily an invitation, I was able to provide some information for him so that if/when he was ready to talk he would have a way of getting a hold of someone.

Thank you for your prayers. Please continue in them as we gear up for Revival starting tomorrow. Pray that this church and this town would be ignited by the power of God. Pray that I stay healthy. I have a sore throat and I am trying not to get sick. Pray for Pastor Bob and his wife. I will try to get on tomorrow and share some more. Have a good evening.

Soli gloria Deo
