One more day

Well, the UHaul and cars are all packed up. It's amazing that we got everything in there. There is no nook or cranny left to stuff anything into. It's been a wild ride in Glennville, but I would not have traded the experience for anything in the world. Sure there were some rough times, but you stay anywhere long enough and you are bound to experience a few rough patches. Through it all, good, bad and ugly, God taught me a lot. I am forever grateful for that. I am so thankful for the love and support of so many people in this community. I would name everyone, but I am afraid I may forget someone. It has been harder to leave than I thought. It really started to sink in today when we were filling up the UHaul. I am not usually an emotional person, or at least not one who shows it very much, but it's been tough today. I know tomorrow will be tough as well, but I know we will all make it through with God on our side. I pray that He is honored tomorrow and that the spotlight not be on me, but on Him. It would be so awesome to see someone come to know Christ, or someone rededicate their life, and me be kind of pushed to the background. I would take that any day of the week. If I start to focus on myself than it's meaningless. So, I pray that it be about God and for His glory.

We will miss all of our friends here, but we know there are greater things to come for us all. We also know that it isn't good-bye, but until next time. Please be in prayer for us as we travel out there. Pray for jobs, and for our house to sell here in Glennville. We know God is faithful and we wait on His timing and His direction to act. But, we know that the prayer of the righteous are heard as well, so we ask that you pray with us and for us about all these things. Above all we pray for His glory to be seen in this situation and that people may come to know Christ.

Texas, ready or not, here we come...
